You are my hero. You lived your life on your own terms right up to the very end. With integrity, class and honor. Thank you for being a constant inspiration and support my whole life. There were many times and ways that you were more like a father to me than a grandfather. I was so blessed to have you. Thank you for taking the time to have a special relationship with my Duncan. He will miss you greatly. He was so fortunate to having got to know you unlike many great grandchildren would have the opportunity. I am sad now but also relieved that you are no longer in pain but also whole again with Grandma forever. I know the past two years have been so hard. Now you get to see the whole world all over again from another view. I hope you get you always knew how much you meant to me. I love you

So many beautiful memories you and Merlee gave me to reflect on. I will always cherish those times we spent together. You held a “special” place in my heart and you will never be forgotten. You always made me feel like “family”; thank you for that. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family. God Bless each of you; you have my love and deepest sympathy.
