Maynard LeRoy Bruch

Sunbury, Ohio (formerly of Lansing)

Age 93, passed away on March 16, 2026.  He was born on March 22, 1932, in Lansing, MI, to Clarance and Elise Bruch.  Maynard grew up in Lansing.  He graduated from Lansing Eastern High School in 1950.  He served in the US Navy during the Korean War from 1952 to 1956.  He graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He was an accountant for Lansing Wholesale Grocers which later became Spartan Foods.  Maynard, and his wife Wilma attended Lansing South Church of the Nazarene for 30 years, before retiring to Zephyrhills, Florida.

Surviving are: his 3 children, Denise Vaughan, Kimberly Harris (Bill), and Michael Bruch (Kelly); and 10 grandchildren, Timothy Foltz, Thomas Foltz Jr., Brandon Bruch, Tanner Bruch, Elizabeth Foltz, Andrew Foltz, Samuel Foltz, Jaqueline Cordero, Sarah Coggins, and Tiffany Bailey.

Maynard was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife Wilma of 65 years; and his son, Kenneth Bruch; and his best friend of 80 years, David Bittel.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing. His family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
