Our deepest sympathies to all of Maxine’s family. A wonderfully kind and thoughtful person has been called home. We will miss her, but we know there are people there that are so happy to see her again. I know Spud (and hopefully Sadie) were there to greet her. Rest peacefully, dear friend – and eat all the chocolate you want!

Maxine was my first boss when I started with the DDS. She was such a joy to work for. I loved her sense of humor and what a wonderfully kind person she was. My thoughts and prayers go out to Maxine’s family.

You will forever be missed. She was a wonder person that made everyone smile. She’d go out of her way to do so too. When I was little she’d travel every year from Michigan down to Florida to visit her family. It might have been a small thing and something that lasted only a week every year but it meant a world to us. When she could no longer make the journey those of us down here when we could would make the journey up there. Even when she was tired she’d smile. She would be patient and listen to our woes and our joys. Gma, you’ll be very much missed.

I have fond memories of Maxine, always a smile on her face and a welcome sight to a new state employee working for DDS. I then had the pleasure of working with Maxine’s daughter, Rae. I’m so sorry for your loss.
