Maxine Marie Bodwin
Born February 25, 1919 in Lake Orion, Michigan, the daughter of the late Robert and Matie (Trumble) Stanaback, Maxine passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at the age of 92. Maxine loved her home, her family, and spending summers at her cottage on Crystal Lake in Frankfort. She volunteered with PTA, Brownies, and Cub Scouts of America.
Surviving are her children, Kathleen Bodwin of Grand Rapids and Lisa Jones of Lansing; grandchildren, Joshua (Lori) and Ryan Jones; great-grandchildren, Alayna, Max, and Jack Jones; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Joseph Bodwin; sister, Thelma Bromley; and brother, Kenneth Stanaback.
Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Capital Area Humane Society.
