The World just lost a GREAT FATHER. We have talked about life, love and loss. Many times we would be looking at each other, nit knowimg where our donations may come from. “Well, we don’t know what Gods plan is, we know he has one” Yep, thst is what my mom, Barb, always said” and some how we made it through. Trusting thst we are doing right by God. We could say we don’t care what others think, that is not true, we care we just.try our best.
Matt told me he had some damily members that may have mis-understood Matt and his Love for Jessie., Drew, Jonathan, Zoe, gabby and Jake. Inam not good with details, you know who you are. You should know he lived you all. Sorry my mind us mush, We love all of you too.
I love you Matt, We will see you again. VV

We had the pleasure to meet Matt and Jessica in Florida. They spent the day with us and we enjoyed each other so much. We talked long about their children and how proud they were of them. Thanks Anna and Jesse for sharing your beautiful family with us.

I met this wonderful family at the restaurant I worked at. They were the nicest, funniest , most giving people I’ve ever met . We became life long friends and my heart is broken for your families loss. Heaven gained an angel to look over you all . God bless you all . Rest In Peace Matthew .

Oh gosh where do I begin. I will never forget you my “little” brother. I will always remember with fondness our secret trips to the park & then QD to pick up discarded cans & turn them in to buy ourselves some pop. Or putting pillows on the ground on the side of the house so we could jump out the 2nd story window. Or you stabbing me in the hand with a fork because I was trying to steal some of your food 🙂 Or all the years you gave me such anxiety because I was away at college and worried about you. Or you walking me down the aisle because Dad was already up in Heaven.Or you being such a loving Uncle to my kids. Giving Nancy that ceramic bird because she fell in love with it and named it Harry – even when we all knew she would end up breaking it. For buying her a stuffed bird when in fact, she did break Harry. For all the times you came to Chicago to visit. For loving my husband even when he doubted his acceptance in our family. You my brother turned out to be an awesome human being. I am forever proud that I was your sister. I will see you again someday and in the mean time tell Dad I love him and give him a hug for me. I love you Matt.

Jessica, Thomas, Johnathan and Zoe; Aunt Sandy, Alexis and I love you and our thoughts and prayers are with you. Life is a mystery, we never know the time that we have on this earth, we can only live the best life we can while we are here. Matt did just that, he was an intellectual, an avid reader. He sucked the marrow out of everyday, he cared and loved his family deeply; Matt was the epitome of selfless service donating his time freely, setting the example for his friends and family to follow. As our journey continues on this blue marble, Matt will forever live in our hearts and minds, and I for one will always see Matt this way.
Godspeed Matt. We’ll see you on the high ground.
Uncle Arnie, Aunt Sandy and Alexis.
