Marylinn June “Marilyn” Hudson

Age 93, of Holt, MI, passed away September 27, 2018, in Lansing. She was born August 28, 1925, in Chicago, IL, to the late Walter and Mary (Mader) Sawyer.

Marilyn was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church; she enjoyed art, crocheting, knitting, and handcrafted porcelain dolls.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Louie) Santana; 4 grandchildren, Jacqueline (Jeffery) Corts, Tammie (Bill) Ayers, Kristi (Brian Rich) Santana, and Dustin (Amber) Santana; 12 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and a niece, Marianne Brooks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clare Hudson; former husband, Fred Craig; and brothers: Roy Sawyer, Arthur Sawyer, and Albert Sawyer.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Lansing. Her family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.
