I am saddened to learn about the death of Mary Nell. She and are 1st cousins. Our mothers were sisters. I grew up in Greene County, Tennessee, but married and moved to Ohio 50+ years ago. We visited with Mary Nell and Ned a few years ago as they passed through our area. I remember her kindness and musical talents. She was a devoted Christian and lived her faith; and I looked up to her as a role model while growing up. Her family has my sympathy; I know she will be missed.

Thank you to both for your support and encouragement! Her service was well attended by family and friends and many tears have been shed over the last few weeks. We are going to miss her but are at peace because she’s in the presence of Jesus!

My sympathy goes out to your family. Mary Nell was my first cousin. Her mother and my mother were sisters. She was named after my mother, Nell. We grew up together in East Tennessee. She will be remembered and missed.

Sending sympathy to all of Mary’s family. It has been many years since I saw any of you except Ned and Mary when I was visiting with Joy. We sure had a lot of good times in our Sunday School class. I remember the progressive dinners and that time we did a dinner for the young people where they had a menu that really didn’t tell them what they were ordering. Love and prayers to you all. My condolences to you all at Mary’s passing. I had just re-connected with Mary and Ned after moving to Great Lakes Christian Homes recently. What wonderful people! God bless you.
