Mary Louise Kapp

Age 85, of Holt, Michigan, passed away September 6, 2015. She was born August 23, 1930, in Jackson, MI, to the late Ernst and Ethel Wieland.

Mary retired from the State of Michigan and was a longtime member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Lansing.

She is survived by her children, Richard Kapp, Robert (Dana) Kapp, Kathleen Kapp, Carol Kapp and Michael (Denise) Kapp; grandchildren, Angela, Jennifer, Stacy, Elizabeth and Samantha Kapp, Steven White, Emily, Jianwei and Jeannie Kapp; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ruth Kehring, Ernst Wieland and Rose (Bill) Hill; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by sister Virginia Pierce and great-grandson Kirkland Rizzuti.

The Requiem Eucharist will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 6500 Amwood Dr., Lansing. The family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
