Mary Carmen Boegner
Age 95, loving mother and grandmother passed away peacefully in her home March 17, 2021 (St. Patrick’s Day). Mary lived her life according to the saying, “Let go and let God”. She will be dearly missed.
Mary was born July 16, 1925 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to Frank and Julia Cipparone. Mary had many occupations and professions including the Canadian Army Secret Service during WWII, CKLW Radio in Detroit, Executive Secretary to the President of Harry Suffrin Clothing in Detroit, and was most recently in property management and land development with her husband. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lansing.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Alex J. Boegner in 2002. Surviving are her three children, Alex J. “Jim” (fiancée Claudine Wilson) Boegner, Jan Burns, and Kurt (Mary) Boegner along with her three granddaughters, Alexis, Molly, and Sophia.
Due to Covid restrictions we are unable to hold a traditional funeral at this time. We expect to celebrate her life on or around her birthday in July.
Those who wish to make memorial contributions in Mary’s memory may do so to Hospice of Lansing. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
