I have so many wonderful memories of Mr. Friar. I loved when he would drive us somewhere because he drove like a pro weaving in and out of traffic. Also, the day he let Angie and I take pictures. He taught us how to develop them. He and Mrs. Friar would take us to southern gospel concerts. But the best memory I have is that he knew my great uncle from the HAM radio. I got to know more about my uncle after he passed away because he shared with me his memories of my uncle. Mr. Friar you touched so many lives with your love of God. Thank you for giving me so many wonderful memories.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Dave was a frequent drivers for our class field trips at Lansing Community College and the students loved his stories. He often brought his camera and would tell us about his most recent trips with the athletic teams. He clearly enjoyed his job. He always spoke very lovingly of his family.
