I’ve known Rich since 1972. When he worked at Bob’s shop rite. He came into my laundromat. Always a quiet and unassuming man. He will be missed by all. May God give you peace.

Craig, I am so sorry for to hear about your brother. The best memories in the world were all of us kids growing up on Coolidge St. I can remember the hundreds of tetherball games Richie and I would play in your driveway. We were very competitive back then and we had a great friendship! I really miss all those special times spent with your family.

This is really hitting me hard. My Pops passed last year and absolutely adored Rich. He was always so kind and supportive of our films. He even came out to my Pop’s Celebration Of Life event and bought a bunch of event shirts to support.

He’d always invite us to his Birthday party on the river boat. This were good times.

Anytime we went into QD he would always come over and chew the fat with my Pops. He’d always introduce me as, “This is Bill’s son, he’s a movie producer.” He was always so generous.

He’s so missed and I know his AA family is as well. He was so proud of that accomplishment and with me during my own alcohol issues.

I didn’t know he had passed until tonight. I’m still in shock. Too much death and too many friends gone.

My condolences, Martin was a great guy, we met over 20yrs ago working @ QD, we have had countless conversations about cars and model cars, Martin even gave me one of his favorite model cars he had a duplicate of. Every time O had been to QD over the years he greeted me like it was only yesterday.

He will be missed so much! From the time we moved just a couple blocks away from QD I’d take the kids down for ice cream. Even 20 years later he’d ask how they were doing, say hi by name. Ask about business at State Farm and talk about cars and model cars. It won’t be the same going in there and he’ll be missed there and in the community. Such a wonderful kind person.

Rich was definitely a great person. He knew each of our children by name. Even through their adulthood he asked about them. He will be sorely missed.

First of all, thank you to whoever put this in the paper, and mentioned at least some of his previous life things.

Writing this is bringing tears to my eyes because I miss Rich.. Whenever I saw him he always said, “hey JC”.
Rich has been a part of my life since I first got sober in 1993. His love of cars, and candles definitely wear commonality between us. He bought me a Tootsie roll t-shirt, because he knew how much I loved Tootsie rolls.
I’ve still gone by the QD where he worked and looked for his car. It won’t be there anymore, and that makes me really sad. But I’m very very happy to have known him. I did my own memorial here at my house by lighting one of the candles he gave me and bringing out a couple of the cars he had given my deceased husband years ago. Rich and Dave can be together in peace now. Love you buddy

Sorry for the loss of such a good hearted man. Rich always greeted me kindly. Asking if I’m heading to the track and what we had there that weekend. He will be greatly missed by those he built a relationship with.
