Dear Nancy, Julie and Angie:
May the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
So sad for your loss at this time, but we know it is heaven’s gain and Louie is enjoying the bountiful blessings of heaven and being with the Lord.
Seems like yesterday you were sending me the lovely cards for my 90th and now you are going thru this time of sadness. What a great hope and promise we have that one day we will all be united forever. Praise God for that! We don’t mourn as those with no hope but rejoice for our dear ones that are enjoying such splendor.
Sure love you all and so glad we are eternal friends.

Every time I saw him he carried himself with a presence of Heaven. His fruit and legacy is obvious by knowing the family well. We love you.

To the Family of Louie Pollok, it is with great sorrow, to hear of his passing. From reading all of the glowing comments on this page, Louie, surely was a man of faith, and he surely had a lovely, loving family. I am sure if there is a life after death, he will have a front row seat.
He will forever be in our hearts.

Dear Nancy and Family,
I had the privilege and pleasure of working with Lou at the HORT Farm for many years.
What a guy! He always had a smile and was willing to help in any way he could.
He made our days a little bit better whenever we came in contact with him.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. He will be missed.

Our family has many wonderful memories of Louie and Nancy and “the girlas” as our neighbors in Dansville. Louie was the “Salt of the Earth”. Such a man of integrity. My condolences to all of you. Peace and Love.

Sending Love and Prayers to Nancy and Family. Fond memories of Louie as we were all growing up together in the Mason Church of the Nazarene. So many years have passed, yet the Christian values that we were taught and the many great Christian examples that we learned from, never leave us. May God surround this family with his Comfort, and May you find peace in Gods promises of eternal life. Louie’s light will continue to shine on, in the lives of all that he has touched.

Lou Pollok family: I managed the Plant Pathology research orchards for many years at MSU including a block adjacent to the Horticulture Farm. As a result, I saw Lou on a regular basis; we traded chemicals, helped each other gain access to water for spraying, and traded insect and plant disease information. I have seen Lou prune in weather “not fit for man nor beast”, because I was out in the same conditions! Lou was very knowledgeable and unfailingly helpful whether you were a visitor, professor, an employee, or a student. He treated everyone with humility and respect. Lou was definitely ‘old school’ in being hard working and completely honest. We won’t see anyone comparable to Lou come along anytime soon! You have our most sincere condolences in your time of grief.

Dear Nancy and family, I am so saddened by Louie’s sudden death! Yes, we know that he’s with our Lord, but it doesn’t depreciate the pain and loss you feel. Please know that I’m praying for you…that the peace that passes all understanding will be with you all. I so admire your family’s faithfulness and faith in Jesus! Love, Elaine Ostling Janz
