Marion V. Kern
Marion V. Kern (Vercruysse), of Holt, MI, died Thursday, October 11, 2018, at the age of 90. Marion was born May 19, 1928. She was the second daughter of Victor and Selina Vercruysse (DeMunck). She worked fifteen years at the Lansing Credit Bureau and retired after 20 years at Michigan National Bank.
Marion was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Kern; siblings, Elsie McCook and Barbra Bozung; as well as a special friend, Maurice Horski. She is survived by a sister Betty Ketchum and a brother Victor Vercruysse; daughters, Juliana Teague and Constance Pendell; a son, Stephen Turner (Jan); ten grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
No service will be held at this time. Donations in her name can be made to Eaton Community Palliative Care in Charlotte, MI or the Ingham County Animal Shelter. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
