Marilyn, age 90, passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on January 10, 2017. She was born January 20, 1926, in Dimondale, MI, to the late William and Ione Schnabelrauch. Marilyn lived in the Holt community for the past 30 years.
She is survived by her children, Jean Kinney, Richard Kinney, Ronald (Suzanne) Kinney, John (Becky) Kinney and Kevin (Tori) Kinney; stepson, Dick Grinnell; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 3 brothers and 2 sisters; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard W. Kinney; sons, Robert and Michael Kinney; and daughters, Sharon and Kathleen Kinney.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2017, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Interment will follow in Hawley Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Thursday and beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
