I have memories of family gathering at your parents home, your Mom’s voice in the house and your Dad sitting at the kitchen table with my parents. Your Mom was always laughing, smiling or finding the best in the subject they were talking about! Seeing both of you last year was so nice and I truly enjoyed having the chance to sit and talk with your Mom. The weather is keeping me from driving in today and tomorrow, I will miss being there.

It was my pleasure to be Mrs. Morey’s mailman for nearly 15 years. We spoke almost everyday when I arrived at her house with the mail..often for just a short period..but I know we both looked forward to seeing each other even if only briefly..I retired about 4 years ago..I’ve missed her ever since and I miss her even more now.

I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to speak with you before the funeral. Your mom was a dear friend to my family. I remember many long talks at her kitchen table. She always had baked goods or candy (really appealing to us kids). I can still hear her laugh, she loved hearing stories and telling them. My parents, Mike, Scott, and Marty were not able to get to Lansing because of the weather. They asked me to pass on their sympathies to you. Take care, Greg. God bless you.

Dear Greg,

We are so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was a real gem. We know she will be dearly missed. She was always so interested in how Mark was doing. Even when she had her own health problems she didn’t complain about them. She was always thinking of others. The way that you took care of her was so admirable. We will be thinking of you and praying for you in the days ahead.

I am sorry for your loss. Even though I never met them I have been told that my father Joseph J. D’Angelo was related to Albert, Louie and Marge and that they were cousins. Not quite sure how. Again I am deeply saddened by your loss.
