Macedonia “Macy” Velasquez-Lozano
Age 83, of Eaton Rapids, MI, passed away at home, with her family by her side, on November 7, 2017. She was born April 9, 1934, in Mineral, TX, to Jose and Refujia Marin. She had 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Macedonia retired from the State of Michigan and was a member of Getsemani Baptist Church.
Surviving are: husband, Israel Lozano; children, Ramon (Starr) Velasquez, Margie (Mike) Spalding, Magdalena (Glen) Casanova, and Ricardo (Tracy) Velasquez; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 step-children, Christina Lozano, Israel “Gordy” Lozano, and Cindy Rocha; and several step-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2017, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday.
