Age 57, of Mason, MI, passed away on December 14, 2014. She was born on August 15, 1957, the daughter of Leland and Ann Marolf.
The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

There are no words I can type into this space to console, explain, or justify. My words are jarring and unsettling. They are not meant as comfort. I do not seek comfort. The peace that Lynelle has found from her illness is insufficient compensation for what her illness took from her and from me. If only my refusal to accept her death had the power to bring her back.
