Patty and Mrs. Caruso;
Sorry to hear about Mr. Caruso’s passing. I only met him a couple of times in the early 80’s, but I remember him as a friendly man with a great sense of humor.

You may recall when I was invited for dinner and at the dinner table Louie gave me some Italian peppers to try, and his priceless reaction to my reaction to the blaze that I felt as they went down. 🙂 and actually, I thought it was funny too…. watching him almost falling out of his chair laughing at me. Such a nice guy was he.
All the best.. thoughts and prayers to you and your family at this time.

To Aunt Clem and Cousins,
I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Louie was the last surviving of 4 children. He was the only sibling born in the United States. The only one to graduate high school and college. The pride and joy of an immigrant family. My father’s “baby brother”. I will always remember his smile, his “Caruso sense of humor” and his quiet steady voice. Rest in peace Uncle.

I’m sorry for your loss. Lou was my first division head at the Attorney General’s office. I learn a lot from him. He was a great boss, great attorney and more importantly a great person. He will be missed

Clem and family,

I wanted to give my condolences to you and your family for your loss. My father (Paul Caruso) always held Louie and you in his highest regards and affection. Louie was my dad’s favorite cousin. He expressed numerous times in conversation how proud he was of Louie’s accomplishments in his profession and his character. He would brag about how Louie excelled at Notre Dame and graduated at the top of his class. Their mutual respect for each other was not just because of them being close cousins growing up, but because they were such good friends.

So sorry for your loss.
