Loletta H. Duvall

Loletta Helen Duvall age 84 of Lansing passed away July 2, 2022 in Lansing. She was born June 21, 1938 in Coldwater, Michigan to the late Kenneth and Goldie (Lockling) Davis.

She enjoyed gardening, canning, her fish, and animals.

Loletta is survived by her children: Paul (Jean) Colter, Elaine Larson, Terry Colter, Loretta (Doyle) Gray, and Clarence (Tammy) Colter; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brothers, Marvin Davis, and Edward Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two children: Kenneth Colter and Alice Colter-Corr; and a granddaughter, Paula Jean Colter.

There will be a funeral service held 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel 325 W. Washtenaw St., Lansing, MI 48933. There will be a visitation on Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

As a neighbor, Lola was always a destinctly strong woman, who knew what she wanted, and a good neighbor. Speaking of how her kids were helping her: the flag pole placement, including repairs later on. The plans to work on the water feature out front for her enjoyment. Also speaking of how they were helping her. She always spoke currently of her children and grandkids. She will be missed.

Loretta I’m so sorry for your loss I know what your going through, I also know how close you two were, I’m going to miss her so much myself I loved her so much too she was one of my favorite aunts always made it a point to visit her everytime I was back home in Michigan,she was always so much fun you, her, me and my mom always had a blast whenever we were able to get together I’m gonna miss those days and I’m gonna miss her she’s in heaven with the rest of her siblings that have past on before her. I’m sorry I can’t make it to her service I just don’t have the money or a way to get there but you are in my thoughts and prayers. So sorry for y’all’s loss.
