Loine J. Weismiller

Loine and Lynn bought Holt Auto Alignment in 1983 for the boys to run. She was secretary and bookkeeper for the business. After over 40 years’ service to the community, the boys retired, and the business closed in 2024. Loine loved to travel in the motorhome to Florida each winter and walked the Mackinac Bridge 20 times. She regularly donated blood for many years through the .d Cross, receiving certificates for the many gallons of blood donated.
Loine attended Sexton High School and Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music.
Loine’s heart’s desire was that all people, everywhere, come to a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Savior. She exemplified this desire through her contributions to local and foreign missions and her example to her family.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday, as well as one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to City Rescue Mission of Lansing or HarmonyCares Hospice in memory of Loine Weismiller.

May 5, 2025 at 1:41 pmMrs. Weismiller seemed to always have patience and a ready smile. I remember so many Saturday mornings spent in piano lessons with my five siblings. She dedicated her gift of music in so many ways.
My sincere sympathy to all the family.

May 5, 2025 at 7:57 pmI loved Loine. When I would come visit her, she always greeted me with a smile.. I loved the stories she would tell of her life. Thank you Loren and Darla for opening your home for Harmonycares Hospice to come in and along with you and the rest of your family take care of her. It was a total blessing and privilege to do this. She was a gem. She is happy to be in heaven and reunited with her husband Lynn. She told me several times of how she was ready to “go.” I know she is ecstatic God answered her desire. I will miss her. My sincere condolences and prayers to your family.

May 7, 2025 at 4:26 pmI had the pleasure of being her neighbor as she stayed with her son Loren and daughter in law Darla and would visit and sit with her from time to time .She loved the Lord and her family too ! We had so many wonderful conversations together about them all , Loine always had a cheery attitude and such a beautiful smile to go with it . She will be missed very much , but not forgotten.

May 8, 2025 at 8:27 amOne of my fondest memories is of my dad, Duane Kruger, and Aunt Loine enjoying their ‘good ole gospel’ music together! Both were very accomplished musicians, my dad on the piano and voice, and Aunt Loine on the organ. Clearly Grandma and Grandpa Kruger had invested a LOT in their music development, and later in their higher education at Grand Rapids School of the Bible and Music. And Dad and Aunt Loine used their talents to glorify God, both in the family living room, and in the churches of Holt, Lansing and greater Michigan.
Other fond memories include hiking the farming fields of Holt, back-yard barbecues, snow-bird visits to Florida when we were on US assignment, taking us to their favorite restaurant “Old Country Buffet”, their love and care for family . . .
I would like to take this opportunity to thank ALL the Weismiller family (beginning with Grandma & Grandpa Kruger, Aunt Loine, Uncle Lynn and next gen!) for giving my parents to the Lord to be used in His missionary service, and for supporting them prayerfully and financially to do so. And I thank the next generation for their investment in Dawn and myself. May our Lord, who is worthy of our praise receive the glory.
We’re sad we can’t be with you in the celebration of Loine’s life this weekend, but because of the faith of our fathers and mothers on whose shoulders we stand, we look forward to the day we’re standing side by side worshiping the Lamb together! In Christ’s love, Nate Kruger.

May 12, 2025 at 8:36 pmMy Deepest condolences to the Weismiller family. My thoughts and prayers are with you Loren and Darla. Loine will Truly be Missed, it was a pleasure getting to know her these past few years. Her kindness and wisdom I hold dear. She was a True Gem with an infectious Smile! His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: Thou hast been faithful over a few things,I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. (Matthew 25:21)
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them all that love his appearing. (2 Timothy 4:7-8) Rest on Loine Rest on~
