Linda Tamer

Age 71, of Holt, Michigan, passed away February 6, 2025. She was born May 7, 1953, in Lansing, Michigan, to Lurton and Joyce Lovell. In 1971, Linda graduated from Holt High School. She then went on to work many years in retail. Her family and friends would call her a hard worker. Linda was a big fan of the MSU Spartans and Detroit Tigers. In her free time, Linda enjoyed crocheting and gardening but what she loved most of all, was spending time with her family. She was a devoted grandma and great-grandma.

Surviving are her son, Charlie Peters; granddaughter, Jasmine (Chad Lewis) Peters-Otis; great-grandchildren, Kyzer Lewis and Phairyn Lewis; brothers, Gary Lovell, Marv (Joyce) Burt, Ken (Kendra) Burt, Doug (Judy Gutzman) Burt; and sisters, Diane (Randy) McKenzie and Pat (Scott) Somers. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepdad, Merle Burt; husband, Mike Tamer; and daughter, Jennifer Peters.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, 2121 N. Cedar St, Holt, where her family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Maple Ridge Cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her son, Charles Peters II to offset funeral expenses.
