Linda K. Spry

Age 85, passed away July 3, 2025. She was born November 9, 1939 in Lansing to the late Milo and Helen (Swagart) Burl.

Linda grew up in Lansing, and was a graduate of Eastern High School. Later in life she moved to Morrison Lake in Ionia County; she also spent time in Florida, where she loved calling for Bingo games. Linda was an avid sports fan, especially the Detroit Tigers, Lions, Pistons, and the MSU Spartans.

Linda is survived by a daughter Tara (Lenny) Satterly; grandsons: Stephan (Amber Hamilton) Satterly, Sean (Brittany) Satterly, Brian (Kristin) Satterly, and Matthew Boyle; 10 great grandchildren, and a brother Dan (Linda Hopko) Burl.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lowell Spry, and a daughter Marianna Spry.

The funeral for Linda will be 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Faith Church, 2300 Lake Lansing Rd., Lansing, MI 48912, interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.
