LeRoy D. “Roy” Rogers, Jr.

Age 81 from Holt, MI passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by: his wife of 60 years, Delores “Dee”, sons: Jay (Barbara), Jeff (Angela) Rogers; four wonderful grandsons: Easton, Colton, LJ, and Nick Rogers, sister Linda Locher, and sister-in-law Marilyn Rogers. He was preceded in death by his parents LeRoy D. & Stella P. (Dyer) Rogers, Sr., and his brother Charles “Chuck” Rogers.

LeRoy retired from Consumers Energy Engineering Department after 30 years. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves for six years. He loved fishing, golf, and most of all his Grandkids sporting events.

A special thank you to Dr. Douglas Vanderjagt, for his professional and compassionate care for the last 35 years.

There will be a memorial luncheon beginning at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, June 30, 2024 at the Greenstone Farm Credit Services building, 3515 West Rd., East Lansing, MI 48823. Memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army Lansing Citadel, 525 N Pennsylvania Ave, Lansing, MI 48912. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
