Leona K. “Lee” Browne
Age 94, of Hudsonville, MI, formerly of Lansing, MI, passed away April 4, 2017. She was born April 3, 1923, in McBride, MI, to Benjamin and Edna Kraft.
Lee enjoyed bird watching and maintaining her flower garden as she loved flowers.
She is survived by her son, Alan (Cindy) Browne; grandchildren, Gregory (Jauna) Browne, Stephanie Browne, Zachary Browne, Julie Martin, and Jaclyn (Neal) Morrison; great-grandchildren, Ella Martin, Devin Hilaski, and Charlotte, Sofia, Sam and Dorian Morrison; niece, Nan (Terry) Hall; and nephew, Douglas McGrady. She was predeceased by her husband, R.S. “Brownie” Browne, and by her sister, Dorothy “Dot” McGrady.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Foundation, 2929 Walker N.W., Grand Rapids, MI 49544.

April 9, 2017 at 3:34 pmLee and my mom were best buddies & neighbors for over 20 years at River Park Estates, and mom even visited her in Grand Rapids several times. Sad that my mom had to read this in the newspaper this morning.
