Lawrence R. Chandler
Age 89, passed away December 22, 2013. He was born February 15, 1924, in Holt. Lawrence was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the DAV. He retired after 38 years as a sheet metal mechanic. Lawrence was preceded in death by his wife, Louise; as well as several siblings. Surviving are: his sister, Jean Erbe; sister-in-law, Shirley Toliver; caregivers, Kristine Harrington and Mariaelena Alcantar; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2013, at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Holt. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society in memory of Lawrence Chandler. Arrangements by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.
