Larry Dewayne “Wayne” Glasscoe, Sr.
Age 57, of Lansing, MI, passed away May 4, 2017. He was born August 30, 1959, in Lansing, to Arthur Lee Glasscoe, Sr. and Aldermease L. Glasscoe.
Wayne retired from General Motors and was a member of his local UAW. He was a longtime member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. Wayne also enjoyed going to racecar tracks and loved anything to do with cars. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his children, Myesha Glasscoe, LeBrandon Wells, Latoya Glasscoe, Lukesha Glasscoe, Renesha Glasscoe, Theoplis Johnson, Le’Angelo Glasscoe, Jamaire Glasscoe, Jy’Reyion Glasscoe, Jaheim Glasscoe, Trentarian Glasscoe, Larry Glasscoe, Jr., and Aldermease Glasscoe; his siblings, Jacqueline Carter, Arthur Glasscoe, Alfrieda Glasscoe, Deborah Peters, Michael Glasscoe, Katherine Hardges, Clayton Dennis Glasscoe, Marcus (Rachael) Glasscoe, Marion Glasscoe, and Eddie Glasscoe; and many other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Brenda Glasscoe and Nellie Raines; and mothers of his children, Teresa Coleman and Sherry Morris.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017, at Solid Rock Baptist Church, 2410 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Lansing. Visitation will be held from 12-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

You helped me so much with my son and I thank you so much for that! A lot of ppl can’t say that had a father like you and I can say I’m happy to have you as a father! You done everything you could to be you best father and I can say you did more then your best! None of your children went with out! Dad you are at peace now without any pain! I thank God for blessing me to meet such a kind, caring and loving individual with such a big heart. The world will nit be the same with you gone. Your laugh, your smile and your voice will be greatly missed.
