Kris was a most kind and helpful and hopeful brother from his youngest days to his long days fighting for a full life despite so many trips to the operating room. Very early in childhood he wanted to be a missionary—and he was one.

Glad he and I had a last day on the golf course a few years back. And for the chance to help break in the cozy guest room Mary Lee and he set up to welcome visitors.
He left a chasm, but Mary Lee and Annika are a living legacy of his spirit.
I am confident the Father and Christ want to and will bring him back to the people and life he loved.

So sad for you, Mary Lee, and Annika. It was a tough battle for Kris. We enjoyed the time we had with you—Kris was always so upbeat. I loved it when he read some of the chronicles of the Hultin family to us. You and Kris have been through so much. May God give you the strength to get through these sad holiday times. Your cousins, Jack and Sandy Lockwood

Always in our hearts, remembering such a beautiful soul that we were all so lucky to have been able to meet. Kris (dad) was absolutely the best role model anyone could’ve asked for. My love and prayers go out to Mary and Annika, along with the rest of their family. May he rest peacefully in heaven.

Dear Mary Lee and Annika,
Thank you for sharing your husband’s and father’s joy and talents with the parishioners of 1st Pres. Holt. Kris was always a delight to see and so helpful, He leaves a “ hole” in the many hearts he has touched. Knowing Kris is “whole” again will hopefully make the memories of good times start your hearts healing. May you feel the loving arms of GOD, family, and friends supporting you. Much love to you both.
I’m so sorry I missed the service as I was having a window replaced during the same time slot. Hope to see you soon,

Please know your in my heart, my prayers, and healing for your daughter and family. He was strong, and didn’t give up easy that was what I remember about him. The celebration of life for Kris yesterday was perfect and we were so glad that we were able to be there. The pastor did an amazing job and the number of people there were a testament to their love and support for Kris, Mary Lee and Annika. May the love of the Father be with you Mary Lee and Annika to carry on the positive spirit that Kris possessed.

Mary Lee and Annika – You don’t know me, but I had the pleasure of working with Kris at A -O for about 8 years before he retired. Even today I talk with my IT friends about this thing or that thing that I learned from Kris (and Jim R). As a business user who wanted to learn all of the things, Kris never acted impatient with me and answered my endless amount of questions. He left a lasting impression in my life and I can only hope that the people I train and teach look at my teaching of them as the same. I am truly so very sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man.
