“Maria” Kim-Lien Thi Tran
Age 89 of Lansing, Michigan, passed away August 6, 2025. She was born December 31, 1935 in Da Nang, Vietnam. Kim-Lien emigrated from Vietnam in 1992. She was an employee at Peckham for over 30 years.
Kim-Lien is survived by her son Hung (Ana) Tran; grandchildren: Daniel (Kate) Tran, Michael (Salicia) Tran, and Jennifer (Ryan) DenBraven; great grandchildren: Melody Tran and Ezra Tran.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mach Van Tran.
Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2025 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, 325 W. Washtenaw St., Lansing, MI 48933, with a vigil service 5:00-6:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:00 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2025 at St. Andrew Dung Lac Catholic Church, 1611 W. Oakland Ave, Lansing, MI 48915. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lansing, MI.

Well maybe not the time that she had to eat the blended food.
I enjoyed the times we shared at meals.
I would see her out exercising after she was home from her job or after she retired.
Great memories for me.
