Kevin Taiga Haun
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin Taiga Haun of Novi, MI, our beloved son, brother, and perfect gentleman. Kevin was born July 27, 1998, in San Diego, CA to Frank H. Haun and Keiko Masuda-Haun, and was called to eternal rest on September 4, 2024. Kevin graduated from Novi High School, Novi, MI.
Kevin’s most notable trait was his thoughtfulness for others. He was always the most accomplished in kindness and concern for everyone’s well-being. He excelled in gift giving and assisting family members whenever called upon. Kevin was a quiet man of few words however, when he spoke, his words were treasures and spoken with truth and grace.
In addition to his parents, Kevin is survived by his brother, Will Haun and Akiko Haun of Panama City, FL; grandmother, Janet Haun; uncle, Yasuhiko Masuda of Yokohama, Japan; uncle, Bill (Marla) Haun of St. Johns, MI; cousins: Nicole (Joe) Brewer, David Brewer and Genevieve Brewer; and cousin, Adam Haun of St. Johns, MI. Kevin was predeceased by his grandparents, Hiroshi and Noriko Masuda of Yokohama, Japan, and William G. Haun, Sr. of Lansing, MI.
Kevin was employed as an Order & Inventory Technician at Kurabe America Corporation in Farmington Hills, MI. Kevin was currently studying accounting to fulfill his plans and enhance his work expertise to enter the field of accounting.
The family of Kevin Haun would like to thank their circle of family and friends for their love and prayers they’ve shared, and to ask God to keep Kevin in His eternal love and ask for continued blessings on his family.
Rest in peace, Kevin, you are dearly missed, but never forgotten.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at St. Mary Cathedral, 219 Seymour Ave., Lansing, MI. The Rite of Committal will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lansing. Visitation will begin 1 hour prior to the Mass.
The family is being served by Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, Lansing, MI.
