Kevin D. Harry
Kevin Harry, 62, of Lansing, Michigan, was born September 13, 1951 and passed away August 9, 2014. Kevin loved listening to music, playing golf, MSU sports, and spending time with his family and friends. Kevin retired from the USPS as a Postmaster. He was a U.S. Army veteran, after which he obtained a degree in accounting. In recent years he enjoyed spending time outdoors enjoying the sunshine.
Surviving to cherish Kevin’s memory are his wife of 43 years Pam (Parrott), daughter Tricia Hickman, son Bruce-Douglas (Christie) Harry and daughter Kristin (Mark) Tyler. Kevin is also survived by five grandchildren Tarryn, Connor, Brooklyn, Dyani, and Alex; as well as his mother Barbara, sister Karen (Gary) Lemon, brothers Jeffery (Carol) and Tracy Harry, and sister-in-law Gail. He was predeceased by his father Donald (1983) and brother Rob (2014). The past few years brought significant health challenges, yet Kevin’s humor, love and positive outlook persisted.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Holt United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service. In keeping with Kevin’s wishes, please consider helping someone you love or lend a hand to someone in need. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Child and Family Charities of Lansing.Arrangements by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.
