Kermit A. Pentecost, Jr.

Kermit, affectionately known to the grandkids as “PaPa,” passed away on November 7, 2022, at home, in Lansing, MI, surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 87.

Kermit was in the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country for 7 years. He worked for and retired from Frankenmuth Mutual Insurance Co. as their senior claims adjuster.

Kermit was an avid sports enthusiast and participated in many sports, but most of all, he enjoyed playing golf.

In January of 2003, he and his wife, Barbara, moved to The Villages in Florida, where they built a new home and resided for 17 years. While there, they made many new friends and continued to enjoy many more years of golf.

In 2020, Kermit and Barbara moved back to their home state of Michigan so they could be closer to their children and grandkids.

Barbara and her family would like to thank Heart to Heart Hospice for the past 2 months of love and support.

Kermit is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Barbara; daughter, Deborah (Mike) Fedewa; son, Kermit (Minda) Pentecost III; 3 granddaughters, Meghan, Paige, and Tailer; and one grandson, Brett.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.
