Kenneth Leon Nickols

Bath, Michigan

Born in Lansing, Michigan on October 21, 1942 son of the late Edward and Winona (Hunt) Nickols passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at the age of 83.

Surviving are his son, Todd Nickols; grandchildren, Cassie Nickols, Shyann Johnson, and Lonnie (Logan) Kellogg; 3 great-grandchildren, Serenity, Conner and Gracelynn Jarrell; son Craig’s longtime partner, Carrie; sister-in-law, Kay Nickols along with nephew, Dane (Connie) Nickols; niece, Kathy Nickols; and niece, Kim (John) Piper.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Craig Nickols; brother, Rolland Nickols; and his nephew, Jeff Nickols.

Visitation will be held at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, 325 W. Washtenaw St., Lansing, on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 6-8 p.m.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1001 N. Capitol Ave. in Lansing.
