Kenneth A. Anderson

Born June 19, 1953, in Saginaw, Michigan, Ken died peacefully in his Lansing, Michigan, home, April 23, 2025, at the age of 71.

Ken is survived by his children, Branda and Mike Smith of Caro, Michigan, Christopher and Leslie Anderson of Jackson, Michigan, Shawn and Carrie Anderson of Bellevue, Michigan, and Heather and Brandon Moore of Lansing, Michigan.  His grandchildren, Kyle and Dee Clark, Jessica, Tony, Mikey, Jacob, Lela, Shawn, and Hailey.  His great-grandchildren, Aniyah, Aaleiyah, Brandon, Blaze, Havana, Key’Oshea, O’Sheanna, and Noah.  Best friend and “Big Brother” Gary and Pyllis Gibson, as well as many more family members.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda L. Anderson; Father, Kenneth E. Anderson; mother, Helen G. “Florer” Ehret; sister, Pam Chivarria; cousin, Mel “Sunny” Jackson; and his grandparents.

Ken was a great father, Papa, and friend.  He was loving and caring.  He loved to be with family, truck driving, fishing, hunting, doing small engine repair, RC cars and helicopter, playing guitar, and most of all, helping people.  However you knew him, dad, Papa, Grandpa, Ken, Kenny, or “Little Brother.”  He was loved by many and will be missed by all!

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Faith Tabernacle of Lansing, 921 W. Mt. Hope Ave., Lansing.  His family will accept visitors beginning at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
