Kapilaben Muljibhai Shah

October 2, 1931 – December 20, 2021

Kapilaben Muljibhai Shah, age 90, of Okemos, MI passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family.

Kapilaben emigrated from Gujarat, India, to USA at age 56 to provide opportunities for her children. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Kapilaben enjoyed spending time with her family and played an instrumental role in raising many of her grandkids.

She is survived by children Jyotsna (late Dinesh), Harsha (Nayan), Trupti (Dinesh), and Upendra (Arti); grandchildren, Neha (Anupam), Chirag (Priya), Heena (Barrot), Megha (Keyur), Shreya (Jazmin), Ankita, Dhara (Aashil), and Shivani (Russell), Rishi; and great-grandchildren, Shyam, Avi, Jaya Tara, Neal, Ayaan, Sahil, Reyaan, Ahnai, Ravi and Misha.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 24, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, 2121 N. Cedar St., Holt, Michigan 48842. Please click here for the livestream of the service.
