Joyce Etta Watson

Holt, Michigan

Born November 14, 1939, in Charlotte, Michigan, daughter of the late Nelson and Gwendolyn Stall, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at the age 78.

Joyce leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 57 years, Dale Watson, Sr.; their 2 children, Marissa Lynn Applin and Dale Watson, Jr.; grandchildren, Tyler Steven Applin and Rachel Elizabeth Applin; sister, Janice (John) McIntyre along other family and dear friends.

Joyce’s passion was her family.  She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a doting grandmother.

Joyce had worked for years as an Executive Assistant for Applegate Insulation.  She was an avid golfer having played in a league for over 30 years and was able to check an item off her bucket list when she golfed at Pebble Beach with her husband and 2 children a few years back.  Joyce was also an accomplished pianist and had the greenest of thumbs.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel on Friday, September 28th from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. with an informal service/time of sharing at 6:30 p.m.
