Joyce L. Fuentes

Age 82 of Lansing, passed away May 1, 2025. She was born December 9, 1942 in Holt to the late Ronald and Fanny (Cluckly) Bosom.
Joyce worked for many years at General Motors. She was proud and very passionate about her Irish heritage. She was an avid home gardener, tending to both her indoor and outdoor plant and flowers. Joyce loved music, especially really loud music, and she could remember all of the lyrics! She also had a love for her collectables, most of all her gorillas. She was the best Scrabble player there ever was.
Joyce is survived by her daughter Tina (Ernest Dorado) Fuentes, grandchildren: Liam Dorado, Chelsea (Alexis Gerszewski) Stiles, Mallory Stiles, and a sister Arlene (Tom) Jenkins
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Misty Stiles, and a sister Beatrice Terry.
There will be a celebration of Joyce’s life held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, 2121 Cedar St., Holt, MI. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday for one hour prior to the celebration. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
