Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on January 26, 2016, at age 78. She was born December 22, 1937, in Lansing, to Theodore and Elsie Hafner.
Joyce retired from the City of Lansing (Housing Commission) in 1996. After she retired, she enjoyed spending time with her parents, children and grandchildren. She also loved to read and shop!
She is survived by her children, Craig (Kathy) Whitford, Debra Haley, and Dawn Peabody, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Per Joyce’s wishes, no service will take place. Her cremated remains will be buried in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Online condolences may be left at www.EstesLeadley.com
