Joseph A. “Joe” Fritz

Age 63, of Eastport, MI, passed away August 18, 2010. He was born May 27, 1947, in Lansing.

Joe graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor’s degree. He worked at GM for 34 years. After retirement in 2001, he moved to Eastport to enjoy life by the beach.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael E. “Mikey” and by his parents, Arthur and Marjorie Fritz. Surviving are: his wife, Jan; 2 sons, Charles Fritz of DeWitt and Benjamin Fritz of Linden; 2 grandchildren, Hayden and Gavin; and sisters-in-law, Connie (Martin) Kuhar and Sharon Woodhull.

A private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association for Asthma research.
