Gordon and I are extremely saddened to read of John’s death. We live on Judy’s street and have had lunches with our “senior group” since 2013. John was special and we were so pleased to have him join our block each month. He will be missed. John and Judy were so dedicated to each other and it was a joy to see them together.. Our hearts ache for his friends and family.

John and Judy met shortly after I moved in across from Judy on Park Av. That was in 1993! John was always so cute in his joking and always a gentleman.
I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing John personally in his past or family life. I did see how he cared for Judy for many years however with her home as well as caring for her with her health concerns. Judy in turn also cared for him after his stroke. I missed seeing him and exchanging friendly chat at that time and then Covid hit. I’ll always have a place for him in my heart.
I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to attend his services. I’m happy to know he was given the military honors and shown such love from family and friends.
Maple Ridge Cemetery is the final resting place for many family and friends. I will be sure to show John my respect when I am there.
