John W. Stanton

John Wake Stanton, age 33, of Lansing, Michigan, passed unexpectedly March 10, 2018.

Johnny was born on September 11, 1984, at Sparrow Hospital to Lorrie Stanton and John Losey. He graduated from Napoleon High School in 2002. And in the summer of 2002 he joined the Army where he proudly served his country.

John is survived by his mother, Lorrie Stanton; father, John Losey; his two sons, John Harley Stanton, 9 years old and Henry Rush Stanton, 7 years old; his sister, Alexis Stanton and sister Sarah Price; nephew, Joseph Price; his grandparents, Rodney & Carol Stanton; grandmother, Patricia Losey; grandfather, John Losey; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins

Johnny believed his greatest accomplishment in life was fathering his two beautiful sons. He always had that little smile on his face when he was around his children.

Johnny we will miss your sweet quiet nature, always protective and your generosity of spirit. We love you and will see you again in but a blink of an eye.

The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Interment will follow in Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. His family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Autism Foundation.
