Uncle John as I recall was a reserved man and soft spoken. I only met him once or twice as a child and spoke to him a few times as an adult. He had some interest in his family, I could see that while we’re spoke over the phone. I was picking his chemistry mind for something I was I interested in producing and he knew the answers. The other discussions were had were related to family lineage. He monitored some on Facebook, I know because we’re spoke a little bit there too. Wish I had more time to visit with him. I think that would have been very interesting.

Yes, my dad had a wealth of knowledge. He was always willing to share what he knew and always was eager to learn from others. I wish you had had more time with him as well. I’m sure he loved talking with you. Thank you for the post.
