We are sad to read of John’s passing. We are visiting our son, Jacob and his family in North Carolina today when we found out. I wish we could have been at the service. Know that you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks ahead. I think fondly of the many neighborhood visits and talks when our families were on Haverhill. Those often began with John sitting on the porch, drawing people in as we would watch the artistry of John’s wonderful carving. I think of his gentle spirit and that wonderful laughter and his love for his family.
Thinking of you all,
Jack and Dawn Brown
