John P. Krohn

Age 57, of Holt, MI, passed away December 2, 2019. He was born April 27, 1962, in Lansing, MI, to John and Geraldine Krohn.

John graduated from DeWitt High School. He worked as the primary paint maker for O’Leary Paint. He was affiliated with Alcoholics Anonymous. John was a member of East Lansing Catholic Church (STA and SJSP). He enjoyed reading, playing Xbox, and doing activities and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Bridget; 2 children, John Sam (Kayla) Krohn and Michaela Krohn; 2 stepchildren, Jonathan and Adam Bradley; 3 grandchildren, John Allen Krohn, Eleanor Grace Krohn, and Nicholas David Krohn; mother, Geraldine (Dick) Schultz; brother, Mike (Mel) Krohn; sisters, Debbie O’Brien and Cynthia Wilke; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father, John Sam Krohn, and stillborn son, Jacob Krohn.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, East Lansing. Interment will follow in Maple Ridge Cemetery, Holt. His family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
