John A. Hale
Age 93, of East Lansing, MI, passed away, July 18, 2014.
He is survived by three daughters, 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a very dear friend. John was preceded in death by his wife and a daughter.
Per his wish, cremation will take place and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sparrow Hospice Services. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

February 2, 2023 at 9:08 amI recently found on my bookshelf, France By Auto, written by Mr Hale and given to me as a gift for taking care of Mrs Hale. My wife and I are planning our first trip together to France since 1980. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. I’m enjoying his writing style and helpful advice. He even included a business card with a message to call if I had any questions. Although our encounters in the office were brief, I truly enjoyed his wit and wisdom and getting to know Mr and Mrs Hale.
