Joan A. Ruth

Age 83, passed away December 27, 2024. She was born August 4, 1941 in Lansing to the late Paul and Edna (Clark) Ruth.

Joan was a giving person, and was known for her generous donations to people in need all around the world. Joan loved to help people, and served many years as a plastic surgery assistant with Dr. Constance, a job she dearly loved. She also had a love for animals, especially her beloved dog Jessie-Jo. Her greatest love was for her family and friends.

Surviving Joan are her niece, Jo Chadwell; nephews: Steven (Julie) Chadwell and David (Wendy) Chadwell; cousins: Marilyn Clark McMan, Ralph Clark, and Randall Clark, as well as other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Carol Chadwell, and dear friends Jack Lovell, and Kathy Hubbert.

There will be a private graveside service held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Funeral Homes.
