Jerry “Jag” Jaglowski

Lansing

Born August 24, 1936, in Grand Rapids, MI, and passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the age of 80.  He was a loving father, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.  Jerry worked at the Meijer Warehouse in Lansing for 38 years.

He is survived by:  his wife, Sue (and her 5 children); his children, Debbie (Dave) Kowalski, Craig (Nancy) Jaglowski, Tony (Sheri) Jaglowski; stepchildren, David Tacey, Christine (Cecil Ouderkirk) Tacey; grandchildren, James (Kelli) Kowalski, Beth (Jeff) Smith, Lauren (Craig) Thor, Jefferson (Kelly) Jaglowski, Robert (Katie) Jaglowski, Sarah (Zac) Smith, Brad (Margie) Tacey, Adam (Holly) Tacey, Derek Tacey, Brooke Tacey; 16 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Carol Maksymowski and Joan Jocham; and sister-in-law, Alberta Jaglowski.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Julia Jaglowski; previous wives, Betty (Bollman) and Pat (Sherry); and brother, Anthony Jaglowski.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017, at South Church of the Nazarene, 410 W. Holmes Rd., Lansing.  His family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society or to the Michigan State University Veterinary Clinic.
