Jean V. Dachtler

Age 92, of Lansing, MI, passed away on May 14, 2015. Jean was born on October 27, 1922, in Kalamo, MI, the daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth Cottrell. She retired as a secretary for the Lansing School District.

Jean is survived by her son, Ted (Laurie) Dachtler, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, son Gary and a half brother.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2015, at Deepdale Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society or Foundation Fighting Blindness for Retinitis Pigmentosa.
