Jean Marie Woodard

Age 82, passed away on November 9, 2025. She was born on February 18, 1943, in Flushing, MI, to James and Signa Ottaway.

Jean graduated from Flushing High School in 1961. She went on to work in administration at the MSU Veterinary Clinic in East Lansing, retiring in 1996. Jean enjoyed cruising around on the pontoon boat, going to Wixom Lake to the family vacation home, and liked to play euchre.

She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Larry Woodard; children, Susan (Darryl) Dysinger, Lisa Danford, Amy Hill, and Christina Woodard; son-in-law, Chip Briggson; grandchildren, Danielle Graham, Brittany Graham, and Josh Danford; great-grandchildren, Tollan Anteau, Kinzie Graham, and Abbygail Graham; sisters-in-law, Sandra (Tom) Gill, and Brenda Ottaway and her children; special friends, Toni Richards and Julie Kusey; and her beloved 13-year-old dog, Peanut. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tina Briggson; stepdaughter, Shelby Woodard; brother, James Ottaway; and sister, Alice Ottaway.

There will be no service. A private burial will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to a Vietnam Veterans organization of your choice.

Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
