Janet Premoe
Janet Premoe, age 88, passed away May 12, 2021. She was born October 14,1932, in East Jordan, MI, to Harry and Evelyn Flora. Janet graduated from East Jordan High School, where she met her husband of 41 years, Richard D. Premoe, of the same graduating class.
She had a house cleaning business in Lansing for 40 years.
Janet was preceded in death by: her husband, Richard Premoe; her parents, Harry and Evelyn Flora; her sister, Beverly Little; brother, Wayne Flora; a daughter-in-law, Patti Haven Premoe; and brother-in-law, LaVern R. Counseller.
She is survived by two sons, Robin (Denise) Premoe of Charlotte and Brian (Tara) Premoe of Lansing; her sister, Margaret Flora Counseller of Lansing; a sister-in-law, Patti Flora of Grand Rapids; grandson, Bradley J. Premoe; 5 step-grandchildren, John Grams, Christena Bell, Terrence Bell, Adrianna Grow, Jackson Grow; and 13 step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel, with interment to follow in Maple Ridge Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday. Online condolences may be left for her family at www.EstesLeadley.com.
