Jacqueline Fay Baird, beloved mother of David Bruce Baird of Harbor Springs, Michigan, and Sandy Baird Rose (Ron Rose) of Saginaw, Michigan, died peacefully in Saginaw on March 13th, 2019.
“Jackie” as she was known to friends and relatives was born on June 18th, 1926, in Grand Ledge, Michigan. She was a great cook and loved painting and gardening. Above all else, Jackie adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jackie was predeceased in life by her husband Bruce Floyd Baird, and is survived by her two children, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Her family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sierra Club.

March 16, 2019 at 10:51 amI meet Mrs Baird later in her life through her daughter and granddaughters. She was a delight!! Although our journey together was short I can see her legacy being carried on especially through granddaughters. Sending love to the family during this time.

Ray and I lived across from Bruce and Jackie on Shaffer Ct. for many years and had many good times together playing bridge with the neighbors and even going to the cottage. She was a a warm and stylish lady. I feel grateful to have know your parents. My condolences.
